Are Dress Codes In Schools Too Strict?

I personally don't believe that dress codes are necessary. Like I mean if you break the dress code a teacher can ask you to change. Big deal, because I think we all know that as soon as the teacher leaves we just change back into whatever we were wearing before. If a student is dressing inapproiately other students will let them know. Like I mean you can't come to school wearing a see-through top or a pair of shorts that barely cover your butt and not expect to be called a slut or a whore. That for some people is worse than any punishment a teacher can give for breaking the dress code. We all kind of know what is acceptable to wear in public and what isn't and the more that teachers try to enforce the dress code the more we try to break it. If there wasn't a dress code students would still come to school dressed the way that they do. We wouldn't start showing up to school in our underwear just because there is no more dress code. We aren't six years-old anymore. We should have the right to make our own decisions regarding what we wear in public. I think we are all old enough and mature enough to dress the way that we want without being criticized for it. I think that we are mature enough to dress ourselves without looking like cheap hookers. And if not well then maybe you do belong on the street corner.

A "Real Teens" Perspective

So this morning I woke up like really early and uh I had a bowl of like Lucky Charms........... Jk if I wanted you to know what kind of cereal I had for breakfast I would have just signed up for a Twitter account. So basically this blog is going to be about real teen issues that people face on a daily basis coming from the point of view of a teenager. This is not going to be one of those depressing attention seeking blogs either because hun as sad as you are that your boyfriend dumped you no one really cares and if you keep complaining about how fat you think you are people are going to stop trying to convince you that you aren't. Plain and simple. So yea comments and suggestions of topics you want me to talk about are very welcome.
